The Rib-X brand are well established within the UK rib market and have been involved in rib design since the 1980's. The brand consists of simple bare boat models right through to commercial rescue boats and superyacht tenders, but all built to exacting standards using tried and tested methods. Throughout the range each model benefits from usable features that are only incorporated within the design when they have proven their worth, making a Rib-X of whichever size a great boat to live with.

Powered by the Evinrude Etec 75 outboard motor this package is very capable with a good turn of speed and carrying/towing capacity, yet with similar fuel consumption of its four stroke peers. Launched in 2004 to critical acclaim and instant 'engine of the year' awards the Evinrude Etec has confounded and converted its critics in equal measure. Benefitting from the simple mechanics of a two stroke firing pattern but with the added convenience of direct oil and fuel injection means that these motors have the same crisp throttle responce of a two stroke but with the economical fuel and oil costs of a four stroke. They also have the added benefit of a three year or 300 hour dealer service schedule meaning less time at the dealers and more time on the water.

This package is finished with an SBS road trailer giving ample support for even the longest road trip whilst still being simple and pratical enough to easily launch and recover the rib.
