Built from high quality corrosion resistant aluminium as used in the aircraft industry, this lightweight planing hull will achieve speeds of 33 knots or more given the correct sea conditions. It has an offset steering position to give better access internally, a flat aluminium plated floor for stability and ease of use and easy to grip grab rails around her gunnels. A bathing ladder and automatic bilge pump come as standard.

We have found that the Evinrude E-tec 50 suits the Arkip perfectly, being a fuel injected two stroke outboard it has the same lightweight and peformance characteristics as the boat but also enjoys the fuel injected economy of the modern four stroke equivalents but without any of their drawbacks.
